Frequently asked questions
What is Rastla?
Rastla is a dating app for people in Türkiye. Every profile is verified, everyone picks what they are looking for up front, and every card shows what two people have in common. The name is Turkish for “come across”.
How are profiles verified?
During sign-up you look at the camera and turn your head the way the screen asks. The phone sends a few frames to the server, never a video, and the frames are deleted once verification is done. Unverified accounts never appear in anyone's deck and cannot send messages.
What is the intent choice for?
You pick one of seven options: marriage, long-term relationship, relationship, dating, let's meet first, just chatting, or not sure yet. The options fall into three groups that never mix, so someone looking for marriage and someone who only wants to chat never meet in the same deck.
Can other people see my location?
No. Your location is rounded before it is used and your exact location is never shown to anyone. Location and device data in the photos you upload are removed too.
How many people can I like per day?
Up to 30 a day. The limit keeps likes meaningful.
When and where will Rastla be available?
The open beta starts in November 2026 across Türkiye. The first version will be on Google Play for Android; there is no date for iOS yet.
Does Rastla cost anything?
It is free during the open beta.
Who can use it?
Anyone aged 18 or over.
